
Keep lots of liquids flowing on those sunny days! Have fun creating thirst-quenching combinations with fresh fruit and minimum sweetening. This easy mixture of a simple blueberry puree and some freshly squeezed lemon juice is extremely refreshing and looks lovely! Add a splash of bubbly water and enjoy!

- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries You could also use frozen.
- 2 lemons
- agave This is sweeter than sugar so use sparingly.
- 1 can soda water Look for the one that has no additives.

- Put you washed blueberries into a food processor and whirl until smooth. If desired, you can run this through a sieve to remove any blueberry skin bits.
- Squeeze your two lemons.
- In a jug, combine your blueberry puree and your fresh lemon juice.
- Add a can of bubbly water and some ice cubes. Stir to combine and taste for desired sweetness. I usually add a teaspoon of agave. Top with some fresh berries and a sprig of mint to be fancy! Enjoy!
This is such a simple and delicious way to get some more of those healthy berries into your diet. I am sure this basic idea would work wonderfully with any type of berry. If you don't have the soda, regular water works, too. Be sure to use a reusable straw!
