Instructions
  1. Wash and carefully cut the cauliflower into bite sized pieces. Try to pull the pieces apart to create florets by cutting out the center part and pulling off chunks.
  2. In one bowl, combine the flour and spices.
  3. In another bowl, pour the milk.
  4. In a third bowl, put your crumbs of choice. I was excited to find gf panko crumbs at the local grocery store!
  5. Dip each cauliflower floret into the milk, then the flour mixture, then the milk again and finally into the crumbs. You can skip the crumb step, but it really adds a wonderful crunchiness.
  6. Fry these in oil at 375 degrees until golden brown. They are honestly best fried but are not greasy. You can also bake these in a hot oven (450 degrees F.) for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve with this amazing dipping sauce and enjoy!
Maple Sesame Sauce
  1. In a microwaveable bowl or a small saucepan, stir together the water and cornstarch.
  2. Add the remainder of the ingredients and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring to create a smooth sauce. I highly recommend using the roasted garlic for depth of flavour.
  3. This sauce is so incredible that you will want to make lots! Use the leftover sauce, if there is any, on a stir fry! Enjoy!
Recipe Notes

I prefer serving the sauce on the side as a dip, as it keeps the cauliflower crispy! Enjoy!
